First - it operates like a normal GPS map |

Then - when it comes within 10m of a waypoint (point of interest) it opens the photo of the place |
|
At the same time - an audio file tells you the meaning of the place name; identifies the tree; gives historical information and describes any geological feature
Finally - when you move away from the point of interest, it reverts to the normal GPS function |
